Sewer Rates & Policies

SEWER:
Sewer service is only available to residents within the City limits.
Sewer service charge is based off water usage

New Installation:
Sewer Line Tap Connection……… 350.00 (Additional Costs & Supplies Extra)*
*Any water hookup or sewer tap requiring a dig depth of more than five feet will be the responsibility of the property owner to hire a contractor to complete the tap and have it inspected by a City operator.

Leaks:
Any leak between the sewer main and the residence is the property owners responsibility, the account holder is responsible for all costs associated with repair or replacement of the line. A City sewer operator must be on site for any sewer related work, failure to comply will result in termination of water and sewer service until the repair has been inspected.

Sewer Rates:
0-2000 Gallons…..Inside City $15.00
2001-above………..Inside City $0.008 per gallon or $8.00 per 1k

Sewer Average for Gardens:
Customers that water their gardens can request to be on the sewer average. The average is based off water usage from Jan-March, we take this figure and bill you for a maximum amount of sewer throughout the remainder of the year.

Billing Procedures:
Meters are read on the 15-20th each month.
Bills are mailed out the last week of the month.
Bills are Due on the 15th.
Penalty fee of $25.00 will be added after 15th.
If the bill has not been paid by the first day of the month, service will be disconnected the next business day.
Once our worker is dispatched to disconnect service, a $25.00 fee is added to the account.
Service will remain off until the entire account balance is paid (past due and current).
A $25.00 reconnect fee will be added to the account when service is to be restored.
Notice: An additional deposit may be required if the account holder has a history of late payments or disconnects within the previous twelve months.

Penalties:
Late Payment……25.00
Disconnect……….25.00
Reconnect………..25.00

Transfer:
Your account must be current to transfer service.

Termination of Service:
You are responsible for notifying us that you are moving, otherwise charges will continue to accumulate.
