Frequently Asked Questions

CHICKENS / DUCKS Laying Hens Only (chickens), Six per acre, must be in a pen.

LIVESTOCK Goats, Sheep, Horses and Cows are allowed in AG zoned properties ONLY. (Limits Apply) No pigs or swine allowed, no exceptions.

YARD SALES Permits are Free and available at City Hall Valid for 3 Days, 2 Permits a Year

BUILDING PERMITS Required prior to erection or alteration of any structure within the City limits. (ie. Mobile home setup, room additions, garage, permanent pool, etc.) Cost is $75.00

COMMUNITY CENTER RENTAL $40.00 per day Cleanup required, supplies provided. We do not rent out the parks, pavilions or splashpad.

ZONING DISTRICTS Each property inside the City has specific zoning regulations that apply, these regulation can be found on the City website.

MANUFACTURED HOMES Not allowed in every district, additional restrictions apply.

MINIMUM SQUARE FOOTAGE 800 sq. ft minimum inside the City. No tiny homes or campers can be lived in.
